Circulus Central Living

Project Type: Branding & Style Guide

Date: April 2023

Circulus Central Living is an envisaged single property development located by the State Circle in Barton, Canberra. This university project was designed for young professionals (first home buyers) working as public servants in the area, looking for small yet luxurious and convenient apartments. The logo and name of the company were inspired by the State Circle. I developed a 22-page style guide for the brand.

Logo Concept

The design of the Circulus brand name and logo are heavily inspired by the State Circle, as it hints at the location of the development and the target market, being young professionals working as public servants in the area. The icon represents a 'C' and follows the shape of the State Circle. The square in the centre represents the Parliament House, and the lines connecting the square to the inner and outer circles create the shape of the building's lawns. To give potential buyers the impression that Circulus Central Living apartments have a modern, luxurious feel, the icon has a silver outer glow. The combination of silver and the dark grey background results in an expensive, luxurious brand.
