Personal Logo and Challenge Coin Design

May 2025

Used in the Royal Australian Navy, Challenge coins represent achievement, camaraderie, and membership. They hold great significance as tokens of recognition and are often presented by senior officers to honour service, mark milestones, or commemorate special events.

The Brief:
To design a personal logo for Rear Admiral Andrew Quinn, Head of Space and Cyber Capabilities, to be featured on their Challenge Coin.
The logo must feature characteristics that represent the Royal Australian Navy, the Rear Admiral rank slide, cyber, and space.

The Australian Defence spacecraft icon represents space, whilst the cyber-like lines branching outward symbolise cyber capabilities. The logo incorporates the cutlass and baton from the Rear Admiral rank slide, with two stars placed on the spacecraft to represent the two-star Rear Admiral rank.

The Contented Canine

Branding and Business Card Design

June 2025

The Brief:

Sienna, a local dog walker, approached me to create a professional brand identity for her business The Contented Canine. She wanted a cohesive look that reflected the brand name and could be applied consistently across advertising materials to help her stand out and be taken more seriously as a business. The goal was to attract new clients within her suburb - busy dog owners who need a reliable and trustworthy walker to care for their pets.

The Contented Canine brand identity centres on a border collie illustrated in a contented, playful position to reflect the business name and tagline; 'In our care, dogs feel contented anywhere'. The dog leash forms a frame around the primary logo, and the use of negative space allows for versatility across different logo applications.

The Bloomery

Project Type: Branding Design

Date: April 2025

The Bloomery is an envisioned, vibrant, and fun florist targeting young adults in Canberra, designed to stand out in a market where most competitors share similar, traditional branding.

With the challenge of young people purchasing cheaper flowers from local supermarkets, I designed a fresh identity to capture their attention, featuring bright pastels and playful, trendy yet timeless graphics.
